garethEds Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Hi Guys, I've just ordered three. One for school, one for my Dad and one for my Father in Law. All from CPLTD. The two oldies will use it for web browsing and probably for Skype and a colour Kindle. For school? Well I'll let the kids loose on it. Probably put Ubuntu on it or Android in our Geek's Workshop. Just had a phone call from CPLTD saying they couldn't deliver and were refunding the money I had paid. Gutted is not the word. Waited in all day yesterday for a delivery that never came. It's not their fault I guess but like Amazon stock was advertised but not actually in stock. People are slating Amazon. Oh well. You never miss what you didn't have. I'm just gutted for my family members.` Gareth

glennda Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 I purchased 8 through bt buiness direct just before they lowered the price on there website - website was still saying 400 quid and the account managers systems said 100 so we purchased 8 for varying different people in the school (personally and staff pay me)
