urgent: Windows 2008 and Windows 7

How can GPOs used for redirect work for Window 7 in a Windows 2008 domain (Not R2)?

Usually they are set for "Vista or higher" on R2, so if there is a setting for Vista, in theory it will work, however I worked with 2008R2 and not regular 2008 so I cannot give you a 100% definitive answer

I have just read a few of the older windows 7 posts for windows 2008 server r2 and that has worked with windows 2008 thanks Nephilim for getting back quickly I was going round the bend with this lol looks like I needed to point it at the programs folder not the start menu folder as XP used to also enable XP and disable to top two settings in the policy helped feeling calmer now.
