Selling Books

Anyone know of a site like Music Magpie but for fiction books? Mrs Enjay is having a clear-out having bought a Kindle. We tried a few sites from Google, but they only seemed to want academic and textbooks. There are loads of similar books listed on eBay but hardly any with bids, so that doesn't look promising, plus she has 100 or so, so eBay would be a lot of hassle.

Depending how much you're expecting for them, I know Cex used to bulk buy books, but they're not exactly top money. Was something like £0.50 each. But when you think ebay + fees + postage, might be worth seeing if your local one takes them.

 

Other option is always local 2nd hand book stores, but again they want them cheap to resell ofc

Could sell to the local library if they are in reasonable condition, say £1 a book/£20 a box or something. They may be interested in them failing that depending on the content contact some school libraries and see if they are interested.

Have you looked at Amazon and Abebooks?

No CEX near here, and web site doesn't take them. The problem with Amazon is we would have to keep them until they sell, and would rather get rid of them now.

 

Hadn't thought of local library though, will try that.
