glennda Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 Does anybody know how to setup the default font? whether it be via registry or GPO Plus does anybody know how to customize the Quick Access Toolbar for Everybody? Toby
glennda Posted July 12, 2011 Author Posted July 12, 2011 I've found this here (although not office 10 it does excel and access in the same way by adjusting from 12.0 to 14.0) Does anybody know how to find the hex value of a font?
ricki Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 HI I think you have to change the default templates to use the font and size. I think they are here. Once you have them as you want. Copy them to a share on a server and create a startup script to copy them into place on all machines. You might have to copy over a folder with a set name so that when the script runs it looks for the folder with the set name and if the script finds it it does not run every time the computer starts. Steve21 Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 Should be under: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Common\MailSettings There's normally two items one for compose/reply. Steve

Steve21 Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 Do you know the Hex values of Trebuchet MS? I need to work that one out before i can do it! As far as I remember it's based on the html setup for it. Example: <br /> <br /> /* Style Definitions */<br /> span.PersonalComposeStyle<br /> {mso-style-name:"Personal Compose Style";<br /> mso-style-type:personal-compose;<br /> mso-style-noshow:yes;<br /> mso-style-unhide:no;<br /> mso-ansi-font-size:11.0pt;<br /> mso-bidi-font-size:11.0pt;<br /> font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";<br /> mso-ascii-font-family:Arial;<br /> mso-hansi-font-family:Arial;<br /> mso-bidi-font-family:"Times New Roman";<br /> mso-bidi-theme-font:minor-bidi;<br /> color:windowtext;}<br /> --><br /> Obviously each type, compose/reply is different. Easiest way to do it would be setting it on one computer, export the reg settings for it, then deploy those if you don't like editting them manually. Steve
Steve21 Posted July 12, 2011 Posted July 12, 2011 There you go, attached a quick reg file with these settings: <br /> <br /> /* Style Definitions */<br /> span.PersonalComposeStyle<br /> {mso-style-name:"Personal Compose Style";<br /> mso-style-type:personal-compose;<br /> mso-style-noshow:yes;<br /> mso-style-unhide:no;<br /> mso-ansi-font-size:11.0pt;<br /> mso-bidi-font-size:11.0pt;<br /> font-family:"Trebuchet MS","sans-serif";<br /> mso-ascii-font-family:"Trebuchet MS";<br /> mso-hansi-font-family:"Trebuchet MS";<br /> mso-bidi-font-family:"Times New Roman";<br /> mso-bidi-theme-font:minor-bidi;<br /> color:windowtext;}<br /> --><br /> ================ <br /> <br /> /* Style Definitions */<br /> span.PersonalReplyStyle<br /> {mso-style-name:"Personal Reply Style";<br /> mso-style-type:personal-reply;<br /> mso-style-noshow:yes;<br /> mso-style-unhide:no;<br /> mso-ansi-font-size:11.0pt;<br /> mso-bidi-font-size:11.0pt;<br /> font-family:"Trebuchet MS","sans-serif";<br /> mso-ascii-font-family:"Trebuchet MS";<br /> mso-hansi-font-family:"Trebuchet MS";<br /> mso-bidi-font-family:"Times New Roman";<br /> mso-bidi-theme-font:minor-bidi;<br /> color:#1F497D<br /> mso-themecolor:dark2;}<br /> --><br /> FontSettingsOutlook.txt Think that should work.
