Cleaning whiteboards

What can be used to clean interactive SMARTBoards?

 

I've found a combination of Brasso and Wet Wipes will clean just about anything - first wipe the area with a wad of Brasso cotton, then wipe it all off again with wet wipes.

For any type of board use CIF the spray type and then give a light coating of a good polish like pledge to seal it again.

But here the teachers do it themselves, it's the only thing they can without help.

Smartboards, I use NP-9 (from the caretaker), or..oh, I forget the name of the latest solution I'm using, but it's good...IWB, Screen and keyboards.

 

Also finding Tesco Value babywipes to be excellent for it all - removes foundation from keys and all sorts - there's a 96 pack in my desk.

 

Non interactive whiteboards (objectives boards) - in theory the cleaners or staff, but at the end of the week I do it, as a dirty board in MY rooms annoys me. I even wipe round the audio controls and wall panels, as they get dirty. And don't go there with marks on the touch-plasmas. Leaves me somewhat incandescent when they've marked those.
