reggiep Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 Hi, I am trying to move our fog images from off the server with a small hard drive to sit on a massive array we have attached to a windows server. I have been following this advice Change NFS location - FOGProject Wiki but get stuck when getting to point 3 in the list. I just can't find those settings in fog 0.29 or 0.31 Has anyone else had a go at this? Thanks
ChrisMiles Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 I did it by mounting the secondary storage into the default images folder, maybe give that a try Section 3 in that guide refers to the Fog Web UI, one of the icons along the top is "Storage".

reggiep Posted July 4, 2011 Author Posted July 4, 2011 Hmm My next hurdle to cross... I have an error when I try to run exportfs -a along the lines of exportfs: Warning: /mnt/fogimages/images/dev does not support NFS export. exportfs: Warning: /mnt/fogimages/images does not support NFS export. I think this may be because of the way I have mounted the external share in ubuntu in my fstab. My fstab has this where I mount the drive fileserver:/fogimages /mnt/fogimages nfs rw 0 0 To be honest i'm not sure what anything after /mnt/fogimages means in the fstab as I have just stolen it from other fstabs I have?
