Hi Everyone

I'm having a problem with Moodle in a primary school and I've ran out of ideas so just thought I'll through this out tho the masses!

Right. The school has Moodle as their VLE. It's hosted off site and they haven't had an issue with it until recently. The issue I'm having, is that some computers randomly stop being able to access the Moodle site. When they type in the URL, internet explorer hangs and then after a time it says page cannot be displayed. Nothing has changed over the time its was never a problem to now beeing a pain in the bum.

I have contacted the company that is hosting our Moodle site and they say there are no issues with them. I have also contacted EMBC (ISP) and they say they filtering system isn't blocking it and RM (as we have a CC4) aren't interested (nothing unusual there then!!). After hours of playing on one of the computers in the suite that is having this issue I thought that I would try to setup a static IP address for that machine rather than a DHCP, and it works. I have googled the problem and only found one person with the simular issue, but he hasn't got back to me (been 2 months!).

I need help as its on random computers. Putting ALL the computers on a static IP is a solution but on some machines this still doesn't work. Also, 150 Laptops and 30 machines is a lot to do, so I was seeing if anyone else has got any ideas on what I can try....

Any help much appreciated.
