windows 7 identd

Please could someone help. We have just started to move to windows 7 and I have deployed the identd service that I use on windows xp and it does not work.

 

Has anyone got a version of identd that will work with windows 7 or can anyone tell me how to get the identd service to work with windows 7. I am using it so danguardian knows who people are for filtering staff and students.

I have just been sent one called identdnt-setup.exe that appears to work. If I find a link to where its come from I will post it.

Pretty sure that would be this: IDENT

ISTR we had to write our own - but it only really works for ident'ing against Smoothwall devices (apparently).

I have created an msi that works on windows 7 but I had to create it on a windows xp machine. We are testing it now.
