Hi all,

 

We are an up & coming ISP laying fibre into the city, we will be mainly offering our services to businesses,

 

however we are debating whether it would be best to offer Switches or Routers at the customer premises, I'm all for switches, the network manager wants to go routers - I have opted for Layer 3 switches which will support Inter-VLAN routing, simply because they are faster than routers and are easier to police if we need to.

 

We will be terminating fibre into Ethernet at the Customer Premises.

 

Would anybody kindly give me some feedback ? What would be best Switches or Routers at the CP.
