ICT Technician

17.5 Hours per Week (over 5 days)

39 weeks per year

Salary: Scale 5

 

Governors are looking to appoint a skilled, ambitious and friendly ICT Technician to work in our in our busy two-form entry primary school.

 

The post holder will be responsible for the management and routine maintenance of our ICT equipment and provide classroom staff with day-to-day technical advice and support for using ICT throughout the curriculum.

 

Working with the direction of our experienced technical engineering consultancy, the success applicant will also be responsible the smooth running of ICT resources, liaising with all users on routine hardware and software problems, and maintaining peripherals including scanners, printers and projectors.

 

The successful applicant should:

 

• Possess excellent ICT skills

• Have a technical background, be pro-active, flexible and personable

 

• Enjoy a stimulating and busy environment working with children and teachers

 

• Have excellent communication skills

 

• Experience of working in a school would be an advantage

 

The successful applicant will join a talented and supportive team working with delightful children within the stimulating and busy environment of a primary school. The post offers the opportunity to work mainly during term time.
