[bug/error] New editor problem

[FN-GM]

Hi,

 

When use quick reply with this new editor, letters that hang below the line (such as g, y etc) are clipped slightly on line 2.

 

I have attached a screenshot.

Cant recreate this problem as it works for me on Chrome. What browser are you using?

Hmm my IE9 doesnt seem to do that and I have same OS.

Just to sanity check can you close all IE windows and right click properties the IE desktop icon and clear the cache.

Ok just done that, now it also does it on the first line where it didnt do that before

Omg lol, do you have IE9 at home? if so can you see if it happens there as I suspect its something to do with the install but not sure.

I dont actually, i use Mac at home. I will try another machine at work tomorrow.

I have manually patched a few things but I cant tell if its gone as it seemed fine on my ie9.

It does the same thing for me, but only on some lines, and only while I'm typing! As soon as I press enter to go to the next line they then look fine! I hadn't noticed before.

Frustratingly I cant replicate this for some reason... 4.1.5 is out next week and it has a huge hit list of bugs in it but I have not spotted anything for IE9 yet....

Something else i have noticed is that the cursor sometimes disappears but that doesn’t happen much to be honest.

Now we are running 4.1.5 can you please let me know if this is still happening as I couldnt replicate it before to check.

Which graphics card do you have on that pc?

I am wondering if this is a rendering thing, is software rendering enabled? (Internet options->Advanced->top option)
