tosca925 Posted March 16, 2007 Posted March 16, 2007 I have set up a public folder as a mailbox. All our IT Support emails go to this and we prioritize these with high, low medium low categories . We all the work on the jobs and then flag them up. I want the public folder to display the categories filed by default to all users. It works fine for us but all other staff users do not see the category heading by default is there anyway we can set this view so all users see this when they access the public folder?
Kyle Posted March 17, 2007 Posted March 17, 2007 Select the Public Folder in your own Outlook and start creating the suitable view for it. 1. Select the folder 2. From the menu select View - Define Views 3. Select New and select This folder, Visible to everyone 4. Modify the view 5. Give the name to that view 6. Press the Publish button When you have done it, right click over the Public Folder and select properties. 1. Select the Administration -tab 2. From the Initial view on Folder select the view you just created Hope this helps, I can't try it as i do not have access to a Exchange box where i work.
