[video] Space and Time - Epic HD Timelapse of the sky above the VLT

This Video is an HD timelapse move of the perfectly clear night sky above the VLT (Ver Large Telescope) located at an elevation 2.6km above sea level. You can see the Telescopes operating and the atmospheric distortion measuring laser being used but the really impressive images are the stars themselves filling the sky and spiraling overhead.

 

 

Makes me want to get back to Astronomy.
