If you have any hist about the cost/price, would you please help me? Thanks Epsilon
steve Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 If you are using virtual servers, you can get a data center license for each host processor and have an unlimited number of VMs running on them (any version of server - std, ent, web, data) at no extra cost. So running 5 host servers (with dual physical processors) with server 10 VMs on each would just cost you 10 data center licenses.
epsilon Posted May 28, 2011 Author Posted May 28, 2011 Dear Steve, What about the other need? (Win7, Office, VB, etc.)
Millgate Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 Hi Epsilon, Have you looked at EES agreements? What sort of agreement do you have in place at the minute? As you know, EES is lisenced per member of full time staff and seems to be the way that most places are going. If you have any questions about EES or any other agreements, just drop me a pm or an email and I'll be glad to help. Cheers Luke
