Paid_Peanuts Posted June 14, 2011 Author Posted June 14, 2011 (edited) Someone sent me a PM with an important question regarding the post. I thought it would be important to add the question and my response incase anyone else had the same thought: Question: "Sorry to bother you. The job advert you posted up for Aston Academy. It mentions, on the website, about Newsletter creations and posters etc.. How big a part of the job is that? Thanks" Answer: "Good point, it was added against my recommendation. It is more that we require someone that knows how to use publisher etc. I argued the point about it blurring the line between art technician and ICT technician however they left it in. It wouldn’t make up even 5% of the workload and I certainly wouldn’t expect the successful candidate to have to do anything other than possibly tweak an already produced banner/poster etc. and then print it on our A0 printer. Hope this clarifies things" Edited June 14, 2011 by Paid_Peanuts 1
