MaceZ4 Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 We have a child protection issue to resolve quickly... One of the support team has had to help a student access their school email by sending emails to their personal email address. Things had been CC'd through the CPO before someone points things out to me... Anyway, since then the team member has been getting a fair amount of spam from this student's personal address... Baring in mind that the student may need to email their tutor or the admin office if their password doesn't work to get access to their school email... but how can we block it for the support team member? Yes a rule within Outlook will delete it, but it doesn't stop the email from being delivered... I hope that makes sense, but I can add to it if needed...
sukh Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 1. Exch 2003 isnt as intelligent as 2007/2010. Natively I cant see how you could do this. If you block at the Exch level then all emails will be bloced. 2. Upgrade to 2010, it's about time. 3. If not why not just use Outlook rule to permenently delete the email. 4. Unless you have some sort of gateway, you may be able to stop it there. Sukh
