sippo Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Ok, so I'm a bit of a movie maker novice. Basically I've been asked to burn a movie maker file to cd. What sort of things do I also need to put on the disc? Am I right in thinking all the photo's need to be in the same folder for the movie to run? Can someone offer a brief explanation on how it all works? Thanks y'all.
Steve21 Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Depends what you mean. Do you want the "movie make file" to be burnt to CD? or the finished movie? If it's the maker file, you'll need the source project, and files "but" remember the paths need to be right for the project to work. No use saving the files as a path to C:\etc etc, if you're wanting it to run "from" disc etc So would help if you could expand a little Steve 1
rush_tech Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Export the project as an .wmv file from Movie maker then burn it to disc 1
sippo Posted May 18, 2011 Author Posted May 18, 2011 Thanks Steve, Want the finished movie on a cd to send off to the exam board apparently.
Steve21 Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 If it's anything like our setup then, It needs to be played on a standard DVD player? (Not pc) So after exporting movie, needs to be converted to a proper "video style" dvd/cd (mpeg2 etc) (Unless you know if it's just for pc viewing?) Steve
plexer Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 You need to export it from movie maker as a video file and then I'd use dvdflick to create a dvd from that to burn and send to the exam board. Ben 1
sippo Posted May 18, 2011 Author Posted May 18, 2011 I have a file that needs 20mb in size, but crashes. Is this normal in movie maker?
