edutech4schools Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 I have always used vmware capture to capture live 2003 AD servers at all my schools for baqckup and despite being told you should not do it on a live system it has worked hundreds of times and saved my bacon a few times. All my schools are moving to Server 2008R2 soon and I wanted to know if anyone is doing the same on this OS or have any advice / pitfalls.
