reggiep Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 I have managed to cock up two ICT suites so that students can't use USB pen drives. All was working until I re imaged them with a special new image that I had made with multi drivers for more computer models. The computers are asus EEE boxes but another model that the image has installed on works fine! Anyone any ideas? Thanks
Steve21 Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 Did you do something like change the names? If you had a GPO that's hiding all drives (C/D/E) etc by default, but not on these before re-image? Steve
strawberry Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 Do they have the multi card readers? they sometimes reserve the drive letters

glennda Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 I find this with the newer ones - its becuase they want to install drivers etc which students can't do if you put it in before login it works!
