Wireless Speakers

Hi All,

 

I'm on the lookout for a decent set of wireless speakers for my Deputy. I'd assume anything on the 2.4GHz band is going to be out of the question for interference.

 

It's to plug into the back of a vinyl turntable. Room isn't massive so range isn't going to be a problem.

 

Any ideas? I've never across any myself, but then again the missus lets me drape wires all over the place

It won't work straight out of a turntable unless there is a built in RIAA equalisation amplifier. Well, it will work, but it be very quiet and will sound terrible. You need to feed the TX from an amp aux out that has a turntable input.

 

Interesting to see they recommend expensive interconnects on a device with a top end of 12kHz. Also interesting to see "WiFi Networking" and "UHF stereo transmitter", but no detail of which is in use, or whether they are UK legal.
