RobMongoose Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Hi all, Would anyone happen to know what address I need to add to my proxy server's auth exception whitelist to allow notebook to activate? I can get activation to work if I visit individual machines and change the proxy port to one that bypasses authentication, but obviously I don't really want to do this on every machine when our proxy server provides the functionality to avoid this. Thanks.
jpaterson Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 Did you ever get a solution this? I am also having the same problem.
enjay Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 Ditto. I've emailed Smart asking for it, and will post back on here if they come up with anything useful...
enjay Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Someone at Steljes has just told me it is http://webservices.smarttech.com
RageRiot Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 I've had this issue after imaging alot of our machines. I just used port 8000 to get by it. I dont see a risk by doing this but I'd be interested to be proven wrong. if this address is what is required then what/where do I apply it. we have a cachepilot.
