SMART Notebook 10 activation - proxy issue

Hi all,

 

Would anyone happen to know what address I need to add to my proxy server's auth exception whitelist to allow notebook to activate?

 

I can get activation to work if I visit individual machines and change the proxy port to one that bypasses authentication, but obviously I don't really want to do this on every machine when our proxy server provides the functionality to avoid this.

I've had this issue after imaging alot of our machines. I just used port 8000 to get by it. I dont see a risk by doing this but I'd be interested to be proven wrong.

 

if this address is what is required then what/where do I apply it. we have a cachepilot.
