[windows phone 7] Win 7 Phone Updates

I've just got a Win 7 Phone and its telling me there is an update for it when I connect to my PC. I know there has been problems with some updates before but is it now save to install them? Think it says its Feb 2011 update

It should be fine unless you have a Samsung, they have systematicly stuffed up their phoes from the get go and its not just limited to the Windows ones, even their Andriod ones have issues updating. Any other brand and you should be good. You want the March one to as I think that that is NoDo update which despite its name contains copy and paste plus a better xbox app and some other updates to make it more responcive.

I got the HTC 7 Mozart so from what you say I should be find updating it then

HTC 7 Pro here and haven't had any problems with any of the updates - the Zune software will take a backup of your entire phone before doing the upgrade so even if anything does go wrong you'll still be fine.

Yeap, HTC are one of the best brands for that kind of thing and I have not heard of one that was affected by either of the update issues which were (I far as I know) limited solely to Samsung handsets.
