Abobe Acrobat reader x wont open links from browser

having problem on a set of laptops cant get a link from website to open

if i save and open its fine

tried uninstall and reinstall

tried untick open in browser in adobe still nothing

 

 

any ideas?

ok i fixed it

 

for anyone else that gets the problem

 

open Acrobat

go edit preferences

select general

 

then un tick the protected mode option bottom left

 

and away you go
