Steve21 Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 Hey, Is there any other common key combinations to close windows (or divert focus), Can think of: ALT-TAB ALT-ESC ALT-F4 CRTL-ESC Start Menu (CTRL-ALT-DEL ofc, but Windows refuses to let that be blocked, and I'm assuming task manager already blocked as standard school setup ) Any others people can think of? Thanks, Steve

sukh Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 This may be of help to you too. Keyboard shortcuts for Windows Sukh 1
yeklef Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 Ctrl + q Ctrl + x Ctrl + c These three used to do that, not sure if they still do or not though.
mac_shinobi Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 Mouse clicking, right clicking on the taskbar icon for said app and minimize, right click on system tray icon if any options in there, using task manager to kill or minimize the app, using code to kill the app via wmi or otherwise ? Holding down the power button on the computer lol msconfig or registry keys to stop it from starting up and rebooting without said app starting ?
Arthur Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 CTRL-ALT-DEL ofc, but Windows refuses to let that be blocked CTRL+ALT+DEL can be blocked with this kernel-mode filter driver. It should work with Windows 7.
