Hibernate not working

Anyone else having problems with Windows 7 and hibernate?

Had been working just fine until about 2 weeks ago, now it just takes you back to login screen.

I think it may be related to sp1 being installed.

Tried enabling and disabling using powercfg.exe /hibernate on/off commands.

Do you have items/devices set to wake up computers? Things like network cards/wireless etc?

 

Is it instantly back to screen? or does it hibernate then wake up after few seconds?

@yugo - I have SP1 deployed and no issues.

 

Can you try booting into safe mode and then try.

Dont think the network card is set to wake up the pc.

The screen dims for a second or two as if attempting to hibernate
