Joomla Twitter Module Through Poxy Proxey Server !!

Does anyone know of a joomla module which will work through a proxy server !! Mine come up blank unless i have a direct connection out !!!

 

If so what settings and how do you do it ! !

I used an RSS feed (mod_syndicate) coupled with the twitterfeed.com service. Seemed to work OK.

Hi Ryan,

 

It's not the actual proxy server, rather Twitter blocking the connection. It is caused by their being one external IP address for a lot of twitter clients trying to connect.

 

As the twitter API only allows a maximum of 150 connections an hour, Twitter will block any further connections resulting in the black screen. Well, when checking the firewall logs, thats what twitter are returning.

 

This won't change unless Twitter change their policy which I don't see happening.
