Unable to connect to TFTP server - Installed on Centos via Hyper-V

Hello!

We're trying to virtualise our fog server, which has been running happily for a couple of years on a standalone workstation.

We're running Server 2008 r2 with Hyper-v over the top, Centos 5.5 has installed fine and I've got fog 0.30 installed also. I'm getting stuck when trying to upload my first image, it's giving me the "Unable to connect to the TFTP server" error. I've followed the instructions in this wiki with no joy :( Could it be related to Hyper-V?

Any help would be very much appreciated!

Cant really advice much except to say that I have fog 0.30 and 0.29 working fine in Hyper-V on Ubuntu 10.10 Server (the desktop version doesn't seem to work properly with hyper-v still) so I doubt its that unless there's something with Centos which is causing the problem. I will say though that the performance of fog on a hyper-v server is acceptable but poor compared to running it off even a decent desktop especially 0.30, but that's just my experience.

Might be worth doing a physical install as a test to make sure its not an OS config issue.

Thanks Chris, we run it on Ubuntu on the workstation we have running, but I battled for a day trying to get Ubuntu to play nice on Hyper-v and gave up.

Hopefully someone more enlightened with show themselves!
