tech_guy Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 (edited) Would this be suitable to use as a monitor on a Windows 7 PC? LG 32LD450 32 inch LCD TV Full HD 1080p USB Input 2x HDMI | Ebuyer.com It wouldn't be used as a TV. For £250 I'm tempted. Edited April 7, 2011 by tech_guy
Dom_ Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Resolution will be pretty rubbish for the size, but I've used a samsung 32 inch as a monitor before with no issues.
tech_guy Posted April 7, 2011 Author Posted April 7, 2011 That's what I'm worried about - that the resolution will be awful. Tried it too with a Toshiba 32" last year and it was dire.
Dom_ Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 I use 1680x1050 on a 17" monitor, this TV is 1920x1080, so will be fairly bad... TV's don't generally work well as monitors :-(
sted Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 ive been using an old acer 32" (1080i) and now a sony 1080P 32" as a monitor for ages granted a proper monitor with higher res would be better but it works ok for me
