flash problem

Terminal services running on windows server 2008R2

 

Maths department are trying to use a website called mymaths.co.uk and the flash content isn't loading when logging in on the terminals, the strange thing is, every 1 out of 10 logins does!?

 

Anyone know a possible fix/work around for this or had a similar problem? I don't think its specifically related to the mymaths website, i think it's a server wide flash problem.

 

I've tried the obvious reinstallation of flash, but same issue. The students and teachers are using mandatory profiles and their accounts are heavily locked down with policies, also sometimes it pops up with the yellow bar asking you to install flash, when this happens it comes up with the "enter adminstrator username and password" popup but even putting in an administrator username and password doesn't get it running.

How have you (re)installed it? I would have done this as an admin:

 

1) In a cmd prompt: change user /install

2)

3) In a cmd prompt: change user /execute

Is the issue actually to do with your terminals / sessions / RDS server, or is it to do with the way their Flash objects are loading resources, probably via your web filter / proxy? A few years ago, it used to be fairly common that having a chaching proxy between a class full of users and a website would cause confusion as the proxy wouldn't be able to handle cokkie and sessions details quickly enough, resulting in browsers winding up with other user's session information. The solution there was to have the website bypass the filter / cache somehow, which was generally a setting on the filtering server.

Website works fine on normal desktops, it's only an issue on the RDS Server when logged in as student or teacher.

 

Runs fine as an administrator on the RDS server and runs fine as a student or teacher on normal desktops. (all using the same proxy)
