CHR1S Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Our CCTV uses imm4 codec and I can neither view or convert this to a more friendly format. Does anyone have any idea what I can convert with or something? Thanks

Arthur Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 The IMM4 codec is a VCM codec, which means ffmpeg and mencoder-based video encoders won't be able to open the video. I would give VirtualDub or Xvid4PSP a try. 1

Arthur Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 The green video indicates there may be an issue with your graphics card driver. Have you tried updating them? 1
CHR1S Posted March 28, 2011 Author Posted March 28, 2011 I updated the drivers, still the same. I have located the original CCTV playback software and can now view it through that. Just cant convert. Going to have to screen grab several hours with camtasia lol!
Farz Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 Can anyone help me? looking for a IMM4 Codec for my MAC computer, I have found a windows one that works great on windows just can not find one for MAC anywhere and as I video edit I really need it to open my customers files HELP!!
