TheHolyBeever Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 (edited) Hey I am trying to get my Joomla website to email a contact form but any of the global email settings i seem to put in do not allow the email to be sent. I am wanting to use the Microsoft one in which the School uses but i am unable to get it to connect aswell as an NTL email i have. I have no idea how to get sendmail or php mail funtion to work either i have looked everywhere to try and find a way to get this working and all has failed. I am using Joomla which is running on xampp apache server on a windows machine. We host the website our selves. The services i have running are apache and mysql in xampp. I am trying to connect to our hosted e-mail on a microsoft outlook account. I need to use TSL to connect to microsoft website. Any help would be greatful. I have changed settings in php.ini sendmail.ini and any other file that people have put settings into. Edited March 28, 2011 by TheHolyBeever
speckytecky Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Had a similar problem with SWGfL / Plesk hosted site. I' not sure what eventually sorted it - it was something done by the SWGfL Support team downline.
