Lookup Tables ?

Hi,

 

I want to assign grades in a sheet values:

8 -A*

7 -A

6 -B

5 -C

 

and so on........

I'm guessing I need to use a lookup table of some sort, but I'm a complete novice using lookup tables so any pointers would be great.
