vikpaw Posted May 3, 2011 Author Posted May 3, 2011 Also, issues i've had with editing Individual Reports in Office 2010, are no longer there, which is great. @glennda - You can turn off the enable content by just dropping Macro Security. File | Options | Trust Center | Trust Center Settings | Macro Settings then set to Enable All, however it's for all documents so a slight security risk, but i've always done it for ease of use. I think that's what you were looking for. 1

I think thats what i'm after - i will have a play - students can't download anything from the net which are word docs enless its from webmail or our VLE (to stop plagarism!) and i hope staff are sensible (although we all know what happens when we say that!)
pete Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 We discovered an excess of Dames. Patch 15679 fixes it apparently. KB107044 SIMS .net | Reports | Attendance | Whole Group Pupil Reports | Todays Register Report
NorthernSands Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 I've now run into a problem since the Spring update (or the server migration); Some / All our double lessons are now treated as Singles in Lesson Monitor. Ho hum. There are about three patches and a promise to fix it in the Summer update. I'll see what Capita have to say...

Just in case you missed it, this topic on SupportNet is pertinent: Double Periods (31565). 1
NorthernSands Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Thanks vik. One of the problems with still having an LA SupportNet account is that I'm unable to browse or text search the school forums. However, searching on the ID number worked fine! Looks like I need to cross reference the double-cum-single periods and see if it is down to a room / teacher change.
vikpaw Posted May 10, 2011 Author Posted May 10, 2011 Shocking, you should have upgraded supportnet accounts by now, surely...? That's the biggest reason why people come here, no restrictions on access!
NorthernSands Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Well, the Local Authority access level gives me access to more stuff than I had before when it was just a school level, such as training datasets, training manuals, etc... So for now I've left it as is.
