Remote Connection Session Terminating

Hi,

 

I work in a school and we are having complaints from some teachers about if they lose power, internet connection... etc for any reason are forced to disconnect they lose their session, as in when they login back in after getting running againit tsrats a new session instead on reconnecting their last session.

 

We have a GPO in our active directory set up to combat this problem and all our teachers are still losing their sessions when the scenario arises.

 

any ideas?

how many ts servers? how do you route to the servers, do you use a tsfarm or a session broker service?. Do you have any policies in place to end disconnected or idle sessions?

we have just 1 ts-server we dont use a ts farm or session broker service. yes the policy is to end them after 2 days both idle and disconnected sessions.
