Untangle Web Filter and Firewall

Hi everyone, is there anyone out there using the Untangle web filtering and firewall ? Im interested in implementing it due to its pricing being so competative. Multi-functional Firewall Software - Open Source Content Filter & Spam Filter | Untangle.com

I set this up when it was in beta and it was a little clunky going through all the setup screens. However, that was about 2 years ago so I don't have any recent experience with it although if they feel confident enough to charge I would say it's worth a demo

We're using the free version at the moment, it's been running quite happily for the last few months. Had a few issues at the start with the NICs getting mixed up and causing JANET to wonder what the hell we were doing to our router but easily sorted

 

Might be getting replaced with Forefront though as we get it free on Campus and it comes with the web filtering subscription as part of our Campus license... more stuff to learn
