Brand new computer (Win 7) with fresh installs of firefox and chrome but flash is crashing both of them, I'ved tried uninstalling and reinstalling which results in being able to use it one (youtube video) but then goes back into the loop of crashing)

I've looked online but the only advice i could find was to disable the firefox plugin container system which i don't really want to do since its also effecting chrome so I don't think that will do much good...

Anyone have any ideas?

Could the crashing be related to your graphics card drivers? As of v10.1, Flash Player uses your GPU to accelerate the decoding of H.264 videos (like those on YouTube).

It's strange that Chrome is affected since this has it's own copy of Flash Player built-in (from v5.0.375 onwards). Are you using the stable (v9.0.597), beta (v10.0.648) or dev (v11.0.672) release?

Does it happen like this in safe mode?

It may be as Arthur suggests, a graphics glitch, does it happen with all the pretty menu's disabled?

Is there anything stated in the error logs?
