laserblazer Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 The Samsung LE32C530 is virtually what I am looking for. Good price, full HD and a usb port that I can play HD Video through. The one feature it lacks is recording through the usb port, which would be the icing on the cake. Is anyone aware of a TV in the same sort of price range that will?
Jamman960 Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 (edited) Take a look at the Sony Bravia KDL32EX403U(& becareful, the KDL32EX401 is exactly the same but without Freeview HD) - it hasn't got recording functions but it does come with Freeview HD and Bravia Internet Video - Iplayer, Youtube, Lovefilm along with DLNA once it has a wireless adapter/usb dongle attached - edit: forgot to mention the USB Spotted it last night and had to buy one Both Argos and John Lewis are doing it for £299... its 5p cheaper at JL and comes with a 5 year warrantee Picking it up on monday, if your interested I'll post a quick review on monday evening although I have no idea whether this is a short term special offer or what. crc-ict Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 I could be wrong, but if you are not going to be using freeview, the USB record function won't be any use to you anyway as it just records the data stream from the digital tuner. That's how my TV with USB record works anyway - can't record anything other than from the internal DVB-T (freeview) tuner. 1
