I have a coin small collection [sadly neglected for many years] I never imagined that any of the coins in my collection might have been tokens of affection:

Wow, amazing. My brother in law quite often metal detects along the Thames when the tide is out and he's found some interesting bits and bobs over the years - lots of coins and once somebody's dental plate where the teeth were made out of gold.
