+1 on this

Two of our students have worked out booting into safe mode will circumvent parts of network security.

I'm finding dribs and drabs of stuff but need something to run on every machine in the school to disable safe mode - anybody done it?

found this on anther thread on here.

In Windows Vista & 7, you can disable the boot menu entirely with bcdedit /set {bootmgr} displaybootmenu no. However, I haven't had a chance to see if this disables F8 too - it might. :)

I have tried this and can't get into safe mode.

also i used this to stop the recovery menu appearing if you crash out of windows bcdedit /set {default} bootstatuspolicy ignoreallfailures
