Locate software on computer labs

Hello everyone!

 

Is there a way (like an all-in-one software) that can generate something like this:

Hardware and Software Locator

 

For example, I would like to select a software in a list, it tells me exactly where it is installed on the campus. Currently, we are using an Excel file located on a shared drive where everyone can access with each software installed in every labs (obviously students never consults that file). It could be hosted on our website, but I just thought a web based thing would be just better in term of facility of use. If you guys have something else to propose, I’m open minded!

Have you had a look at Spiceworks:
