Screensaver/Password GPO

i have set policies in

user config> admin templates> control Panel/personalization to

enable password protect

screen saver time out: 600

prevent changing screensaver

enable screensaver

force specific screen saver: mystify.scr

 

with the scope filtering of authenticated users, domain users, users

 

but nothing (expect now the screensaver is disabled/greyed out, all my other policies are cool

 

any ideas????

 

btw: server 2008r2 with w7 clients

 

edit: right click on personalize is showing the screen saver is set and the time out is correct and they are greyed out as i would expect .... but nothing

SOLVED!!!!!!!!

 

HAVING DONE A SEARCH ON THE INTERNETZ AGAIN, SOMEONE SAID UNPLUG YOUR MS WIRELESS MOUSE.

 

After i did this it worked fine and dandy...... what a waste of a day (i have been doing many other things but still)
