Pro Desktop 8 Hardware Acceleration

Just wandered if anyone can help..

 

Having a problem with pro desktop and hardware acceleration. Pro desktop 8 sets hardware acceleration as enabled by default and i want it disabled by default. When ya run the program the first time it dumps loads of reg keys in the registry under HKEY_CURRENT_USER including the hardware acceleration one. Does anyone know where it grabs this information from to dump it in there and how i can change one of the keys?
