SpuffMonkey Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Hi guys - not strictly a windows problem - but can anyone point me to a site that gives some (fairly) up to date figures for Microsoft's market shares in the desktop and server fields - I've got to do a presentation and I'm b*ggered if I can find them anywhere? I've gone cross eyed looking with slim results. The desktop figure seems to be MS 93%, Mac 5%, others a bit. But the server figures seem really hard to get. Any (speedy) help appreciated.
Geoff Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Yes, most estimates for Windows on the desktop put it at 90% or better. Your pretty safe with that one. At least for a couple of years. As for servers, it depends. What sort of servers are you interested in?
