Add additional dhcp server

Hi all i want to add an additional dhcp server The situation is that the server previously had dhcp on it but had to be rebuilt and i never got around to putting dhcp back onto it.

 

The server that is currently doing all the work has an ip of 10.37.241.1

with a scope of 10.37.243.1 to 10.37.255.254.

If i install dhcp do i configure on the same scope or a seperate one?

theres two good suggestions there geoff i quite like the idea of implementing both (cos i'm greedy) basically run with your method of identical scopes and also a back up one.

Did you implement your own idea? any feedback?
