bladedanny Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Hey All, We are a part of the MS schools agreement and still use windows xp. I'm sure I heard somewhere that to downgrade to XP I'd need any new machines to have a windows 7 pro licence? Is this true? Thanks, Dan
riffleman Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 No its not true. All you need is a PC licensed to run Windows of any flavour. You are still licensed for downgrade rights. All my PCs come with whatever the cheapest version of Windows I can get hold of and use the agreement to put whatever version we require on them. 1
