Anyone using a kyocera 5300 on 2K3 & XP clients

I'm pleased with the Kyocera but it still looks like im being plagued by a driver issue, so i was wondering if there was someone out there with the same setup that can tell me what driver they are using.

 

I've been made aware of an issue with one document so far. Everytime they try to print a timetable (created in publisher) in colour, bits of text in the cells are missing, but when printed in mono it comes out fine!

What driver are you using?

 

Best one is to use the KX driver, it its the most full driver package

 

Have you tried resetting it back to factory defaults?

we've had 6 installed and he's tried on two printers so far....same issue.

 

I'm 99% certain thats the one im using... :/

is it just that one staff member that's having the issue or are others also reporting the same thing. If its just him, it may be how its set on his machine, if others are reporting it, then it may be the printer at fault?

It's only one staff member that has said they have an issue. But ive got a copy and even printing it from my machine has the same issue.

whats the file? would it breach DPA if you were to post it up so I can try on our kyocera here?

Ooh, KX Driver worked.

 

I've changed them all to it now. Will the other printers just pick up the driver automatically?

Go to the other printers and go in the propertys of them and then can can select the driver to use is the drop down list, do this for each of these printers
