JoniUk Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Hey Guys, I've recently started maintaining a Windows 2003 Active Directory Network at a primary school. Im having an issue with teacher laptops, If they are logged on locally they can not access any websites other than the lancsngfl ones. Once put onto the domain, there is no issue - but i do not want them on the domain. There is no ISA server, just the gateway i assume installed by CLEO - which i have no access too. There is probbly a simple solution but i can't figure it out, any help would be appriciated. John
K.C.Leblanc Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Is there a proxy server they have to connect through? On the domain accounts it'll (probably) be setup in GPOs, on the local account you'll need to use internet explorer settings.

I think ill install Firefox on the teacher laptops and configure the proxy setting. That way they can use IE at home and Firefox at school so save them messing around with proxy settings every time. Thanks, John
