Oh dear, the jobs agency seem to have mucked up the advert a bit (at least I hope it was them)! Look at the bullet points...

 

We aim to ensure that each of our pupils will:

 

- Realise her full academic potential and achieve recognised qualifications

- Be adaptable and resilient so that she will adjust to a rapidly changing world

- Be confident in making decisions and acting upon them

- Appreciate achievement in all areas of human endeavour

- Be responsible for the leadership of IT Support, including team and individual meetings

- Help to develop the strategic direction for IT Support within the school

- Manage the IT Support department budget and resources

...

 

Now I can understand the first 4, but they aim to ensure the pupils will be responsible for leadership of IT support? And developing strategic direction? And manage the budget?

Wooohooo I did get the cool job, 31k to 35k incremented over 6 months

What job is it? still in education

It's not education, sysadmin in the real world for the company that provides real-time stats for the premier league (and goal line technology, 3d visualisations etc)
