gman Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Is it possible to get Liberum to work on a linux based cheaphost? I use osticket, however I would much prefer the simplicity (for teachers) of this software. Thanks in advance Gary "Working is the curse of the drinking classes"
webman Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Considering Liberum is written in ASP, which is a Microsoft language only supported on IIS, I wouldn't have thought that'd be possible. There are 'compatibility' layers available but are not 100% perfect - Apache::ASP is one, but is unlikely to be available for you to use on the server and would probably be more trouble than it's worth.
gman Posted January 11, 2011 Author Posted January 11, 2011 Thanks Webman, I will search for free asp hosting site, host there and redirect. Gary "Working is the curse of the drinking classes"
glennda Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 if you are looking for a decent helpdesk which works on linux then maybe take a look at Request Tracker
